Being rooted in the Fitchburg community means that we not only help our neighbors with their banking needs, but we serve the community and help it grow.
We have grown our roots in Fitchburg by getting involved in area events, projects and sponsorships that include Fitchburg Farmers Market, Fitchburg Concerts in the Park, Fitchburg Boys & Girls Club, and the Fitchburg Police and Fire Departments, just to name a few. Oak Bank is also a proud member of the Fitchburg Chamber of Commerce, the Verona Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce.
Our team understands the importance of helping our community and volunteering for causes that affect all of us. That’s why we donate our time and talents to service organizations like Easter Seals, Share Your Holidays, Fitchburg/Verona Rotary, Downtown Madison Rotary, 100+ Women Who Care - Madison, Altrusa International, Inc. of Madison, and more.

Back Pack Drive for Reach Dane
Help our littlest learners and the most vulnerable children in our community start school ready to succeed! Your donations of a new or gently used backpack to Reach Dane will help a preschooler begin their school adventure in Head Start with the tools they need.
To participate, drop off new or gently used backpacks in the Oak Bank lobby between June 15 and July 15. Or, purchase a new backpack and ship it direct through the online wish list: Backpacks for Reach Dane.
School Supply Drive for Leopold Elementary 
Our school supply drive supports needs of children attending Leopold Elementary School. Approximately 59% of Leopold Elementary students receive free or reduced fee lunches because they are economically disadvantaged. Help us help the communities we serve.
Holiday Giving Tree for Meadowood Health Partnership
The Meadowood Health Partnership (MWHP) strengthens families, promotes literacy, and provides neighborhood-based health and mental health support through counseling, support groups, and education.
Thanks to our participation in 2025, 30 children received gifts for the holidays! This year, you can donate to MHWP directly or watch for Giving Tree updates.
Food Drive - Share Your Holidays for Second Harvest
Food drives are a powerful way to help your community feed the hungry during the holiday season. Our annual food drive as part of the Share Your Holidays event benefits Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin.
Nearly 147,000 of our neighbors in southwestern Wisconsin face hunger. Every $20 we give provides 5 bags of groceries to a family right here in southwestern Wisconsin.
