We have grown our roots in Fitchburg by getting involved in events, projects and sponsorships that include helping the Fitchburg Farmers Market, Fitchburg Concerts in the Park, Fitchburg Boys & Girls Club, Fitchburg’s Bark in the Park and the Fitchburg Police and Fire Departments, just to name a few.
Our staff understands the importance of helping our community and volunteering for causes that affect all of us. That’s why they donate their time and talents to service organizations like Easter Seals, Share Your Holidays, Fitchburg/Verona Rotary, Downtown Madison Rotary, Fitchburg Chamber Economic Development Board, Fitchburg Chamber of Commerce, Development Days, Realtors Association, Madison Area Builders Association, Altrusa International, Inc. of Madison and Fitchburg’s New Economy Technology Team.

June 15th - Armchair Boogie
Jamgrass, newgrass, funkgrass, whatever you want to call it— Armchair Boogie is rapidly becoming one of the country’s hottest acts. With an unbounded sound, this Wisconsin-based quartet is known for their powerful harmonies, timeless originals, and choice covers, along with unforgettable live performances. Listed as a “Must-See Roots Artists at Bourbon & Beyond'' by The Bluegrass Situation who wrote, “We recently caught this jammy Wisconsin outfit at Earl Scruggs Music Festival, where they burnt down their late-night set.”
July 20th - Bumpus
With funky beats, deep bass, lush JB horns, and a heavy organ sound, Bumpus brings energy, funk, and soul to every performance! Hailing from Chicago, Bumpus has performed at the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Festival, and shared the stage with Dr. John, War, The Roots, Jurassic 5, Maceo Parker, and Fred Wesley.
August 17th - Chicago Latin Groove
Chicago Latin Groove delivers an energetic fusion of Latin rhythms, salsa, and contemporary dance music. Known for their vibrant percussion, lively arrangements, and engaging performances, the band brings a festive atmosphere that gets audiences moving. Their sound blends traditional Latin influences with modern flair, creating a memorable finale to the summer concert season.

- Nearly 147,000 of our neighbors in southwestern Wisconsin face hunger.
- Each month, over 55,000 visits are made by local families to food pantries, mobile pantries, and school markets.
- Every $20 you give provides 5 bags of groceries to a family right here in southwestern Wisconsin.
- In FY2024, 64% of the food Second Harvest distributed was fresh produce, canned vegetables, fruits, dairy, or high-protein foods. This is made possible, in part, by our donor’s generous contributions.

Leopold Elementary serves children in Madison through education and supportive services. Approximately 59% of their students receive free or reduced fee lunches because they are economically disadvantaged. Help us help the communities we serve.
