Great Pumpkin Give Away 2026
Plan to attend Oak Bank’s Great Pumpkin Giveaway on Saturday, October 10th, 9am to noon.
Families are welcome to join us behind our building in the parking lot at 5951 McKee Road in Fitchburg, to pick out pumpkins, grab a goodie bag (while supplies last) and enjoy tractor-drawn carriage rides. Kids will have the opportunity to meet local mascots and play family-friendly games.
For a $5 suggested donation, you can enjoy fun fall activities and take home a pumpkin! All cash donations collected during the event will be donated to GiGi's Playhouse Madison.
This year, the Fitchburg Fire Rescue is hosting an Open House at Fitchburg Fire Station No. 2 (across the parking lot from the Pumpkin Give Away), also from 9am to noon. You can meet local firefighters, check out firefighting trucks and safety equipment, and grab snacks!
Why Oak Bank Does the Pumpkin Give Away
Each year, Oak Bank collects donations during the Pumpkin Give Away to benefit a local charity. This year's event supports GiGi's Playhouse - Madison, a nonprofit providing free programs for individuals with Down syndrome.
GiGi’s Playhouse is a nonprofit organization dedicated to changing the way the world views Down syndrome and promoting global acceptance for all. Through a lifetime commitment to families, GiGi’s Playhouse provides FREE educational, therapeutic, and career development programs for individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and the community. Their vision is a world where every individual with Down syndrome is accepted and embraced in their families, schools, and communities.
